a bowl full of cherries...

On Friday, my sister-in-law and I took the little ones cherry picking. The weather was perfect and we really enjoyed it. I've been peach picking and apple picking but never cherry picking. I now think it is my favorite picking to do. I'm not sure why. Maybe because it is quite obvious which ones you should pick (once someone tells you of course), the darkest ones, and then they kind of just fall into your hand.
Another first, I baked my first cherry pie ever. I thought it was delicious but my picky eaters were not it's number one fans. I gave half to my neighbor. I had to, in order to protect myself from it.
Would you beleive I found the butter dish at one thrift shop and the sugar and creamer at another on the same day. Yippee!
OK, how cool is this child-size vintage formica table with chair.
I found it at a yard sale this weekend.

Here are some bib and burp cloth sets I have been making.

I will be setting up an etsy shop soon.

You are the queen of thrift! I have the same problem with pies at my house, I'm the only one who eats them. Very dangerous.

The bib/burp sets are adorable! I especially love the cherry fabric. You definitely need a shop and we definitely need to sit down and talk about marketing.
