A funny thing happened on the way to the vintage pillowcase dress...

I picked this vintage pillow case up at my favorite thrift store in Mt. Joy for fifty cents. I wasn't sure if it would be a tote or something else. I saw this tutorial on the pillowcase dress and wanted to make one for dd 3. When I finished it, my dd (almost 15) discovered it would work as a top. Probably the only garment they will be able to share for quite some time.

That is too amazing! I love the fabric. I am crazy about daisies and the pink looks fabulous on both the girls.

Oh Amy, that is such a cool coincidence. I looked over the directions, and they are just too hard for me, but I love it! Stephanie

I've got a pretty big pile of vintage pillow cases that I was planning to do "something" with...now that I've seen the cute dress (and top!) I might give that a try for my 6 year old daughter. thanks!
