some sewing...

I made these clothes pin holders over the weekend.

Did you hear that Mary Engelbreit's Home Companion and
Country Home both ceased publication? Is it me or does it seem like businesses are closing their doors with little or no notice at all.
These are some strange times folks...

amy, those are so pretty! i wish i had a clothesline. maybe this spring i'll have my husband put one up for me again, i love hanging my laundry.
as for mary englebreit, i have loved her style since i was a teenager, bold, bright colors and patterns, but i stopped subscribing to that magazine long ago because it made me so covetous of THINGS. every time i looked at that magazine i'd drool and want to give my house a million dollar make-over on one tight budget. needless to say, she does have some great ideas. i guess a lot of people just can't afford too many extras like that right now! martha stewart will probably be next!

Amy, I forgot all about those clothes pin holders. My grandma had one of those and I was thrilled to see them again. Do you make them to sell? You are so talented.

These holders are beautiful! You work quickly! Do you have to copyright your designs in order to sell them/ I always wondered - I have sewn clothes for people from patterns, but I have not manufactured for sale. I have heard different things. I Home School my 15 year old daughter - she is sewing and really loves your creations, too.
