I have been rearranging every room in the house, or so it seems...
The living room has been my latest project. The curtains are from Ikea. I purchased them on a trip there at the end of last month. I wasn't crazy about them but the length was right and the price was right. I didn't take them out of the packaging in case I found something I liked better. I looked everywhere for 96 '' but found only a few and nothing I cared for. I would have made them if I found a fabric that jumped out at me.
The other day, I finally gave up and hubby and I hung these. You know what, I kind of like them. Very neutral, I love the length, yeah, I can live with these.
It is a very small living room. There is not a whole lot you can do with the furniture. But I did discover a furniture arrangement I haven't tried before-lol.
We're going to try it this way for a while.
It's cozy, I think.
I have some different ideas for what I want to put on the walls. I'll let you know when I figure it out.

I love seating arrangements like this, Amy! Cozy, easy to have conversation. The curtains are very nice too! Is the wall color accurate? I can never get my wall color to look right in photos, your color is very bright and cheery!

Actually, the wall color is called antique yellow by valspar. It is not as bright as it looks in the picture-thank goodness-lol!
I am enjoying the furniture like this.
I like the arrangement, it does indeed look cozy. And the curtains are very nice!
Let me know when you are heading down to Ikea again and maybe I can tag along. There's a few things I want to get.
