whatever is lovely...

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable,
whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely,
whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence and if there
is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
Keep on doing what you have learned and received and heard
and seen in me. Then the God of peace will be with you.
Philippians 4:8-9
Sometimes I ask myself why I blog...
My intention is certainly never to brag about the things that I make, or cook or do, or gag anyone with how much I love my kids and my husband. I guess I just want this to be a place to share the good things in my life, I save the complaining and worrying for off line. I love this scripture from Philipians. My sister calls it her "life verse"-words to live by.
This scripture reminds me of what I want to do with this blog. Focus on what is truly good in my life. Believe me, we all have "stuff" in our lives that is not as we would choose it to be or could be better, and I am no exception.
So that is what you'll find here. Mostly just the good stuff...
whatever is lovely...
Here are a few pictures from while we were out and about doing errands today. I had no intention of taking pictures of all this-but is was all just so darn, well....lovely!
I don't always let her get her own cart, but daddy was with us so he was able to watch out and protect my heels.
A stop at the "Corn Wagon" 13 ears for $2.25-not bad.
We picked up some very yummy blueberries, since the birds have been feasting on ours. These were a great buy, it's a quart!
This is where we get our milk-also great prices as well as no bht hormone.
July is ice cream month-woohoo!
I can honestly say, that so far this month I have been doing my part to support this occasion.
Is next month carrot and celery sticks month?!

I had to chuckle when I read about the little cart your daughter was pushing. It reminded me of when my son was little and he insisted on having a small cart - I was hit in the mack of my foor on more than one occasion. The carts are cute, the damage the cause is
