something wonderful...

I'm not quite sure how long I have dreamed of having a shop of my own...I just know, and those close to me know, it's been a very, very long time.

Rarely do my husband and I go for rides in the car when I don't point out some location, a farm, a barn, a market, a building, and start designing our family business on the spot. Speaking of how we would combine our interests/strengths and turning into a place where people would love to come and shop.

God bless this man for always humoring me and never discouraging this dream.  Thankfully, somewhere along the line it became our dream, as well as our oldest daughter, Annie's.

Well, the shop opens February 1, 2013.
It is located on 21 W. Main Street, Strasburg.

Annie will be a huge part of this endeavor
and we couldn't be more pleased.

Funny thing is, I didn't pursue it this time,
through various circumstances doors just opened up.
This truly seems to have God's fingerprints all over it.
This is of great comfort, feeling His presence in this.

So we are quite busy around here, painting furniture, searching out inventory, preparing the space to move in, etc.

I'll keep you posted.

timely updates.

Congratulations! I share your dream....but the timing isn't right for me yet. I'll be so excited to come and visit when you open. I'm a friend of Tracy White's and saw this on her FB.

If you happen to be looking for a local supplier of soy candles, I just might be your girl. www.etsy.com/shop/goodneighborscandle

Or not....either way....I'm looking forward to stopping in and saying "hello".
